Bag Without Box Provides A Unique Solution

In a unique variation on the traditional bag-in-box packaging format, Dutch Food Group Van Dijk Food Products has chosen Rapak - Zewathener GmbH & Co. KG to supply individual 2.5 and 7.5 L bags for Van Dijk's comprehensive range of Gouda's Glorie sauces for the foodservice industry.

Instead of being contained in a box, each bag features two special hanging slots that enable it to be placed inside a special permanent dispensing system in the kitchen. This provides greater flexibility and convenience in the busy foodservice environment. Product is dispensed through a 19 mm dispensing gland.

The product is cold filled. In addition, in order to retain brand identity and encourage loyalty in the growing and increasingly competitive foodservice sector, the bag also features a printed metallised polyester outer layer incorporating the Gouda's Glorie logo.
