It's In The Bag For Edible Oils

Rapak has installed a new Autokap™ single head fully automatic filler at Anglia Oils in Hull. Anglia Oils is a major supplier of edible oil to Burger King in Europe and is now using Rapak's Bag-in-Box system to pack the oil for use in most of the Burger King outlets in Europe.

Bag-in-box provides the answer to tough new environmental legislation in Germany, being lighter and easier to dispose of, and with the bag, cap and gland all 100% recyclable.

At the same time, it offers both economic and usage benefits throughout the supply chain - perfect dispensing, major efficiency gains, lower storage costs, increased hygiene and longer shelf life.

This is just one example of an increasing move towards bag-in-box for edible oils as a means of improving costs and efficiency, enabling manufacturers and retailers to maintain their competitive advantage.
